Entry 5: Cycles

Moon phases for cyclical energy

Awakening to the Fource

Cycles are interwoven into the fabric of reality. From the water cycle to the changing of seasons to the orbits of the moon and earth and everything in between, much of nature operates around cycles.

We beings also center on cycles. From respiration to circadian rhythms to the female menstrual cycle to our daily work schedules, we beings also operate around cycles. Many of us have lost sight of this.

Cycles flow in and around us. When we recognize the cyclical undertones of reality, we gain greater awareness into the nature of the Fource.

Cycles are both predictable and valuable. They are predictable in that many cycles endure in a fairly uninterrupted way, and they are valuable in that they add dimension and structure to our understanding of time. We beings have, however, begun valuing linear progress above cyclical rhythms. This separation from the underlying cycles flowing in and around us is one of the many sources of our individual and collective suffering.

We beings have forgotten how to flow with nature. Our actions are now undermining nature’s cycles, both the ones beyond our bodies and the ones within them. We beings must wake up to that and start taking responsibility for our impact. The Fource is making an effort to communicate, but many aren’t listening.

Life itself is ecological, sustainable. Valuing both ourselves and our world’s natural cycles is critical for survival. Cycles is the topic of this blog entry.

Being in the Fource

In this section, I will share information I obtained through a rodding session (for more info, check out The Rodding Method before continuing reading here). I hope you find it informative and inspiring, but that is honestly not why I share it. I share it in order to contribute to the ever-growing pool of information about the universe.

Be.

Many beings believe life moves linearly.
But, this is incorrect.
Life is cyclical.

Life cycles subside.
Life cycles begin again.

Beings value linear progression.
Beings want identifiable, measurable progress.
But, life does not work that way.

In the natural world, cycles underpin so many aspects of life.
Beings have lost sight of that.

Cycles are both natural and inevitable.
Instead of denying or resisting that, beings ought to embrace it.

Before beings entered the universe, cycles progressed unencumbered.
After beings entered the universe, cycles became challenged.

Beings began to identify linear trends.
Linear trends helped beings better understand some things, but not others.

Linear trends explain lots of phenomena involving human activities.
With primarily linear progression in mind, beings began modifying various components of their lives in the hopes it, too, would yield linear progress.

But, life, in its most elemental form, is cyclical.
Beings’ progress is also cyclical.

Cycles are continuous.
Life is continuous.

Beings should not be so hard on themselves.

Cycles lay at the foundation of the universe.
Beings love progress, but Energy loves cycles.

Cycles are both an opportunity and a signal.
Cycles pose an opportunity for valuable adaptation, and signal the need for reflection.

If life were primarily linear, everything would just be a bit further along on that same trend, moving at the same rate, without adaptation, without need for reflection.

Cycles unify adaptation, reflection, and Energy.
Together, they inspire beings — make them more aware of the passing of time, and the importance of intentionality.

Both linear and cyclical information has value, but Energy is cyclical.

Be open to more information.

Go in peace.

Following the Fource

In this rodding session, the Fource reminds us that so much of the universe operates around cycles. We beings focus on linear trends, but in the Fource, cycles are valued.

Many of us go through life constantly chasing progress. I am no exception. Before rodding became a significant part of my daily life, I chased monetary growth above all else. Day after day, I focused on my business, constantly trying to secure more clients which could then generate more revenue. I wanted my progress to be linear — identifiable, measurable, positive.

This constant chase for monetary wealth became like an addiction — one that left me, like most addictions, ultimately dissatisfied. Meditation and rodding not only helped me become aware of this lack of fulfillment, but also inspired a profound change within me. The Fource helped me realize my progress is not linear, but rather, continuous. Not only is it continuous, but it varies in degree at any given point in time. This progression within me is an example of a cycle.

Cycles begin, subside, and begin again. This does not mean we are simply like mice on hamster wheels, never making meaningful progress. Rather, our progress is not always directly identifiable through a linear trend. It would be nice if it were, but it isn’t. The Fource believes beings ought to be reminded of this, the cyclical nature of reality, and not be so hard on themselves.

The Fource, the universe at large, is mostly cyclical in nature. Cycles underpin so many dimensions of life. Too many of us have forgotten this, and yet denying it or resisting it is futile. The Fource flowing through all that is has literally been through countless cycles. Study the natural world, study human history, and you will see: cycles abound.

Our existence, beings’ existence, however, has disrupted many natural cycles. Through our actions, nature has become both amplified and repressed. For that reason, it is imperative that we become more aware of and responsible for our actions, particularly as they impact the greater whole. We have to consider the Fource, both in our individualized form and as part of the Fource that flows through all that is.

Sign that says please take nothing but pictures leave nothing but footprints

I believe we beings can impact not only the cycles in the natural world, but the cycles within ourselves. The Fource lives within us. We are more influential than we know.

Our life journey, our life cycle, centers on wandering, learning, gaining understanding, and then evolving. Cycles unify reflection, adaptation, and the Fource.

Lay down your fear and embrace the cyclical nature of life. Be aware of both broader natural cycles and the ones taking place within your own being.

A new movement is at work, a movement beyond ordinary perception. Value being alive. Open yourself to the possibility that there is knowledge beyond perception, knowledge that lives beyond your default consciousness. Information is available to any being willing to seek it, and curiosity is the foundation. An open, curious, dedicated, humble, and quiet being can attain knowledge.
